Carver County Jail Treatment Program
This Program currently serves both male and female inmates suffering from chemical dependency in the Carver County Jail. The curriculum focuses on chemical dependency and criminal behavior. This curriculum employs a cognitive behavioral approach that aids inmates to gain an understanding of their thoughts and actions around using alcohol and drugs, and how that coincides with criminal behavior. Not only does this program educate inmates, it prepares them for re-entry into society. Working in conjunction with Carver County, Five Stars Recovery Center will give the chemically dependent inmates an opportunity to return to the community better prepared to make positive decisions and take appropriate steps toward living a chemical free life.
