Narcotics Anonymous is a 12 step recovery fellowship.  This link will take you to their world services homepage.

Alanon is a 12 step recovery fellowship for family members whose lives have been affected by alcoholics/addicts.  This link will take you to their world services homepage.


Alateen is a 12 step recovery fellowship for adolescent family members whose lives have been affected by alcoholics/addicts.  This link will take you to their world services homepage.



First Street Center (Mental Health) of Carver County
provides mental health assessments, therapy and psychiatry to adults (including seniors), adolescents, and children in Carver County, as well as case management, chemical health, and crisis services.

The Carver County Mental Health Crisis Program provides the following services to residents and professionals in Carver and Scott Counties.  These services are provided in homes, police departments, hospitals, juvenile detention centers, schools, jails, mental health centers, and other community locations.

  • Mobile on-site response to assess and stabilize a crisis situation
  • Short-term stabilization services
  • Telephone crisis intervention
  • Mental Health consultation
  • Mental Health crisis consultation to community providers and law enforcement
  • Assessment of risk to self or others
  • Mental Health diagnostic assessment and brief psychotherapy
  • Individual & family crisis intervention, severe parent/child conflicts
  • Coordination of out-of-home placements including psychiatric hospitalization if necessary
  • Information and referral
  • Health Care Navigation (HCN) Services to assist clients in navigating through health insurance issues.

Scott County Mental Health for residents of Scott County provides mental health services for children, adolescents and adults who are experiencing problems or coping with mental health concerns.


Minnesotans arrested for driving while impaired (DWI) that have a cancelled or revoked driver’s license now have the opportunity to regain their driving privileges sooner by participating in the
Minnesota Ignition Interlock Program, administered by the Minnesota Department of Public Safety Driver and Vehicle Services.
